Privacy notice
How this website and Meter handle personal information.
Updated 22 October 2026
This notice covers www.djleslieson.com and its plugin pages and downloads. The data controller is Quantum Leap Design Group Limited, trading as DJ Leslieson, registered in England and Wales, company number 14586969. Our registered office is 86–90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE. For privacy enquiries, contact djl@djleslieson.com or write to that address.
Visiting the website
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, device/browser information and request times to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable website. We have not installed advertising pixels or visitor analytics scripts on these pages.
Contacting us
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use this to answer enquiries, provide support and resolve problems. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence; where your enquiry concerns a contract or steps you ask us to take before a purchase, we also rely on that contractual purpose. We use Microsoft 365 for email. Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal information.
Spotify players and browser storage
Spotify embeds stay blocked until you allow them. Allowing players connects your browser to Spotify, which receives technical information including your IP address and browser details and may use cookies or similar storage for its player and measurement purposes. If you are signed in to Spotify, it may associate activity with your account. This optional device access is based on your consent. Read Spotify’s privacy policy and cookie policy before enabling players.
We store your player choice in your browser for 180 days. You can refuse or withdraw permission on our cookies and settings page. Ordinary links to Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud and the merchandise shop take you to separate services with their own privacy notices.
Meter and downloads
Downloading a file makes a normal website request; the download does not itself require an account. Meter’s audio analysis happens locally on your computer. Offline licence import does not upload audio or require an online account. Version 1.0.0 has no public online activation service configured. We will provide information about any new account, payment or activation processing before offering those services. The separate merchandise shop has its own checkout privacy information.
Who receives information
Cloudflare handles website delivery and security, and Microsoft handles email processing. Spotify receives information only when its players are allowed or you visit it directly. We may also disclose relevant information to professional advisers, authorities or other recipients where necessary to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information.
Providers may process information outside the UK. Applicable transfer arrangements are described in Cloudflare’s data processing terms and Microsoft’s data protection terms, including contractual safeguards for restricted transfers. Spotify describes its own international processing in its privacy policy. Contact us for more information about safeguards relevant to your information.
How long information is kept
Your browser preference expires after 180 days, unless you replace or clear it earlier. We retain correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry, related follow-up and any applicable record-keeping or legal claim requirements. We review retained correspondence and remove information no longer needed. Hosting and security records are handled under the provider’s applicable retention arrangements; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Contact us about the retention of a particular enquiry.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict its use, receive portable information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. These rights have conditions and exceptions. Contact djl@djleslieson.com to make a request.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). You do not have to contact us first, although we welcome the opportunity to resolve your concern.
Changes
We will update this notice when our services or data use change. The date above identifies this version.
