Meter troubleshooting
Installation and updates
Close your DAW and Meter before installing. Use the Windows x64 installer, selecting VST3, standalone, or both. Restart the DAW and rescan VST3 plug-ins. See the installation guide.
No signal in the VST3
Insert Meter on the track, bus or main output you want to measure. Play audio, enable the plug-in and check the host routing. Meter measures audio at its position in the effects chain. Your DAW selects the audio driver; ASIO is not required by the plug-in itself.
No signal in standalone
Open Setup and choose the available audio device and input channels carrying your signal. A DAW output is not automatically routed to the standalone application: your interface or routing software must provide that signal to an input.
Meter movement or CPU use
In Setup, True peak estimated uses less CPU than the default high-accuracy true peak mode. Include sample rate, buffer size, driver and the views in use when reporting performance issues.
Float Window
Enable Float Window on the toolbar. Include the DAW version, display resolution and Windows scaling percentage if it opens incorrectly or appears off screen.
Clear, flags and file scans
Clear clears measurements and peaks while preserving held issue flags. Pro flag controls are unavailable in lower editions. Scans and CSV exports return to live monitoring when complete.
Activation
Check your internet connection and the edition purchased. Send the exact error and Meter version to support, without including your licence key.
