Can I download the VST3 now?
Not yet. DJL Groove is a development release. The Windows build, Ableton host testing and native activation setup need to be completed before a public plugin download is offered. You can use the free browser demo today.
Does DJL Groove make sound?
The browser demo includes a basic synthesiser for auditioning. The VST3 generates MIDI, not audio; route its MIDI output to an instrument in your DAW.
Will it work in Ableton Live?
Windows VST3 is the current build target. Ableton MIDI routing, transport, looping and project recall still need host validation. Compatibility is not confirmed yet. You can export MIDI from the browser demo and import it into your session.
What can I try in the browser?
Import and export standard MIDI, protect notes, generate four takes and audition them with a reference bass sound. Initial musical scope is minor scales and phrases of 1–32 bars. The browser demo is unrestricted and separate from the paid plugin’s activation system.
